Much love to all of you, and see you in 2012! <3

Day 10: New Year's Resolutions
Since I probably won’t be on tomorrow…
Get at least a 290 on my APFT
Keep all of my grades B+ or better
Be more outgoing
Keep working on accepting and being happy with my own body
Have fun!
And that’s about it. I’m not big on the whole resolutions thing, but these are just a couple of goals for the coming year. :)
I’m delighted to be back with the lads today, to get on the scoresheet and get...

Day 9: The end of last school year/the beginning...
End of last year
It was actually pretty good. My final ROTC training exercise went well. I didn’t have any written finals so I got to go home about a week early. I got good grades. I was definitely happy to have gotten through my first year of college and ended it on a good note.
Beginning of this year
Meh. To be honest, it really wasn’t very good. I had a really tough first semester...

My little sister was watching part of the match with me today. She isn’t a Liverpool fan, and only watches the occassional international match with me.
At one point the Kop started singing, and she turned to me and said, “Liverpool fans really are the best fans, aren’t they?”
I know that doesn’t mean a whole lot since she hasn’t really been exposed to other...

After Stevie scored
Me to my sister: See, Stevie is the kind of player who's going to be a Liverpool legend and who I'll tell my kids when they're Liverpool fans, "I saw him play. And the King was our manager. And everything was beautiful and nothing hurt." And then I'll say, "And your dad was an absolute star for the Reds too."
My mom from the other room: Was this a dream you had?
My sister: No, this is Callie's future.

I told myself that I was going to go for a 3 mile run today before tackling another day of the 30 Day Shred. But it’s only, like, 30 degrees out. And I don’t like the cold.
So I might be a wimp and skip it.

Just back from seeing Tintin
Oh my gosh it was awesome. It was really, really awesome. I loved it.
I was skeptical, because I grew up with these stories and they were a huge part of my childhood. My dad read them to me and my sisters and my brother in English and French, and I knew “Tin-tin” by his French pronounciation. It was so cool to be introduced to another culture that young, especially since my dad and...
